Hair Extensions & Braiding
Our highly experienced cosmetologist will extend your hair to create a stunning micro-bonding/braiding effect. Because you will not need to wash braids as often as normal hair, the extensions offer a perfect solution for get up and go people whose time is a premium. We have perfected the Invisible braiding(Tree Braiding) technique which does not use threads or glues. Weaved hair is braided in with the clients hair in corn rowed layers close to the scalp. Invisible braids are a great choice for anyone wanting to give their natural hair a break from chemicals. Taking care of Braids
Braids will be quite tight for a week or so, until they have loosened up slightly and your own hair has grown a bit. You will not need to wash braids as often as normal hair - once a week at the most would be fine. The only part that really needs to be washed is at the scalp. So it is best to visit your salon for a dilute shampoo solution through your scalp.
Invisible Braiding (Tree Braiding)
This popular cornrowed technique allows weaving hair to be put in without threads or glues. Weaved hair is braided in with the clients hair in cornrowed braid layers close to the scalp. The braid goes in place; the weaved hair is separated from the natural hair in small sections and pulled away from the braid in close pattern. The natural hair ends up full braided and serves as a support for weaved hair. Invisible braids are a great choice for anyone wanting to give their natural hair a break from chemicals. Invisible braids go in fast but do not last as long as more traditional braids. This particular type of braid will need to be redone more frequently. For this reason we recommend that synthetic hair be used for this type of braiding.
Strand Bond Weaving
For long wearing extensions this method is recommended. Strands of hair are put into small sections. Weave hair is applied to each section close to the scalp with heat resistant bonding material. The hair flows freely and there is no bulk at the scalp.
Synthetic Deadlocks take much longer to attch than other types of extensions. These are usuually temporary and quite expensive. They need periodic attention at the salon. Click here to make a booking.
